The story
Eight out of eight. Barcelona beat Getafe 3-0 and lead by five points. Raphinha still tops the scoring chart with 12 goals, ahead of Lamine Yamal, Kylian Mbappé and Rayo’s Sergio Camello on seven each.
Real hold on. Ten-man Real Madrid beat Villarreal 1-0 after Vinicius Junior was sent off; the winner came from 19-year-old Yan Diomande, his first goal for the club. Atlético Madrid won 2-1 at Alavés to stay second.
Goals in Seville and Valencia. Real Betis beat Osasuna 5-2 and Levante drew 3-3 with Sevilla. Valencia, under new coach Javier Aguirre, drew 2-2 at Racing Santander.
