How our weekly European football stories work

Every week the SitesNG Sports Desk goes through the results, tables, top-scorer charts and coaching changes in the Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and the UEFA Champions League, then writes one short, readable story for each competition plus a Europe-wide round-up called This week in European football.

The stories focus on what fans actually talk about: who is top, who is scoring, which coach has been sacked or appointed, and which big matches are coming next. Every player and coach we mention has their own profile page with a credited photo, so you can go from a headline straight to the person behind it.

Each story has share buttons for Facebook, X, WhatsApp and LinkedIn and a proper preview image, so it looks good when you post it. When a new week starts, the previous edition moves down this page into the archive and stays online at the same address, so links you have shared keep working.
