Our advertising standards
- Clearly labelled. Every ad says “Advertisement”, and every sponsored item says “Sponsored” or “Supported by”. We never disguise advertising as news.
- Editorially independent. Advertisers and sponsors have no say over our reporting, statistics or athlete profiles.
- Lawful and honest. We only accept advertising that is legal in Nigeria and not misleading. We may decline any advertisement that does not fit our readers, including a young audience on some pages.
- Reader friendly. No pop-ups that block reading, and ads are kept apart from buttons and links to avoid accidental clicks.

Can I sponsor just one sport, such as basketball or athletics?
Yes. Each of the 38 sports on SitesNG has its own section, so a sponsor can appear only on the pages of the sport it wants to reach, clearly labelled 'Supported by'.
Is sponsored content labelled on SitesNG?
Yes. Every ad is labelled 'Advertisement' and every sponsored item 'Sponsored' or 'Supported by'. Sponsors have no say over our reporting.
Does SitesNG use Google AdSense?
Yes. Standard display ads on SitesNG are served by Google AdSense. How advertising cookies work is explained in our Privacy Policy.
