These Terms of Use apply to everyone who visits www.sitesng.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

1. About SitesNG and these terms

SitesNG (“we”, “us”) runs SitesNG.com, an independent information portal about the sports played in Nigeria, Nigerian athletes at home and abroad, and African sports news.

SitesNG is independent. We are not the official website of, and are not endorsed by, the Nigeria Football Federation, the National Sports Commission, the Nigeria Olympic Committee, any sports federation, club, league or athlete named on the site. Federation contact details we publish are provided for readers’ convenience.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

2. Our content: accuracy and corrections

We research every page carefully against federations, official results and reputable media, and we show when key facts and statistics were last checked. Sport moves fast, though: squads, rankings, officials and records change, and errors can happen.

• Content is provided for general information only. It is not professional, legal, medical, financial or betting advice.
• Always confirm important details, such as event dates, entry rules or federation contacts, with the official organisation before acting on them.
• Found a mistake? Tell us through the contact page. We review every correction and update the page when it is confirmed.

3. Copyright, photos and trademarks

The text, page designs, tables and compilations on SitesNG are © SitesNG, unless stated otherwise.

• Photos belong to their creators. We use photos published under free licences (such as Creative Commons) or with permission, and credit each one under the image with a link to its source and licence. Those photos remain under their original licence terms.
• AI illustrations, where used, show only general scenes, never a real, identifiable athlete or a real event, and are captioned “Illustration: AI-generated”.
• Logos and names of federations, clubs, competitions and brands are trademarks of their owners and appear only to identify them.

If you believe something on SitesNG infringes your rights, email info@sitesng.com with the page address and details. We will review it promptly and remove or credit the material if needed.

4. How you may use SitesNG

You are welcome to:

• read, print and save pages for personal, non-commercial use;
• share links to any page on social media, messaging apps and email (every news story has share buttons);
• quote short extracts, with credit to “SitesNG.com” and a link to the page you quoted.

You must not:

• copy or republish whole pages or large parts of the site, or our tables and player databases, without written permission;
• scrape or harvest the site with automated tools in a way that overloads it or copies it for another website;
• try to break, hack or disrupt the site, or use the contact and newsletter forms to send spam or unlawful, abusive or misleading messages;
• click ads fraudulently or encourage others to click them.

Search engines and AI assistants may index and cite SitesNG pages, as set out in our robots.txt and llms.txt files, provided they link back to the source page.

5. External links and advertising

SitesNG links to federations, results services, news outlets and other websites so you can check our sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

The site is paid for by advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are labelled “Advertisement”, are chosen by the ad network rather than by SitesNG, and are not an endorsement. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and the advertiser.

6. Liability

SitesNG is provided “as is” and free of charge. To the fullest extent allowed by Nigerian law, SitesNG is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, from relying on its content, from the site being unavailable, or from third party sites and ads. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.

7. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
