About the KBFN
The Nigeria Kickboxing Federation popularly known as the Kick Boxing Federation of Nigeria (KBFN) is the body that governs and controls the activities of kickboxing in Nigeria.
The federation works towards the development of kickboxing in Nigeria, through awareness creation, frequent and adequate sports competitions to inspire others who will want to participate in the sports.
The federation is into raising the standards of the game through organizing training for all the practitioners in Nigeria. Abubakar Yakubu, a former president of the Kickboxing Federation of Nigeria, worked towards making kick-boxing a National Sports Festival event, and even more, for Nigerian kick-boxers to participate in other international events. The federation is now led by Dr. Mykel Eneduwa.
