The Super Falcons made light work of Comoros. Four days after a 2-0 first-leg win, Nigeria won the return match 5-0 at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Tuesday 13 October 2026, a 7-0 aggregate victory in qualifying for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

Toni Payne opened the scoring in the 41st minute and added another after the break. Uchenna Kanu struck twice in eight minutes, and Christy Ucheibe completed the rout from the penalty spot. Kanu also scored in the first leg, so she ends the tie with three goals.

Both games were played in Ikenne because Comoros had no stadium approved by CAF. Interim coach Augustine Eguavoen did it without several regulars, including Asisat Oshoala and Ashleigh Plumptre.
